Carman Pentecostal Assembly (CPA) is a church that desires to follow God’s leading in all areas. We have a passion for youth and children’s ministries. CPA also has a passion for missions and local outreach. We are actively involved with Youth For Christ Carman and other local ministries. Our church is situated 1 ½ miles east of Carman, providing us with ample space for activities. Our 14,000 sqft building includes a large sanctuary with the capacity for over 200 people, another large multi-purpose space, a fully equipped kitchen, and a number of other classrooms, which enables flexibility for various activities and events. In addition, our large grounds also include an outdoor playground, basketball court and skating rink. The congregation has diverse backgrounds with a unified desire to be led by the Holy Spirit and to follow God’s leading as we “introduce people to Jesus through caring relationships.” We currently have approximately 100 people attending regularly each Sunday, so there is a solid foundation and also room for significant growth. We are seeking a lead pastor who will shepherd us into the next phase of our faith journey. The successful candidate will have a passion for the Holy Spirit. This will be evident through self-study and fervent prayer, the ability to lead people and cast a vision empowering the congregation using discernment to follow where and when God directs. We seek a lead pastor and family who are enthusiastic about being involved in our church and our community. Building and developing relationships that foster respect, compassion and love are key. Our lead pastor will be willing to minister in and around the community of Carman and able to work with the local Ministerial. Solid biblical preaching and teaching on Sunday mornings will of course be important as well as the ability to equip our congregation for ministry both within CPA as well as reaching out to our community. We are seeking a lead pastor who is willing to continue to grow in faith as you lead us to expand and deepen our personal relationships with Jesus while we share His love with others.
