“Un Cinq à Sept”: The District of Quebec welcomes you to Old Montreal and the Bonsecours Market on Monday evening at 350 rue Saint-Paul, Montreal.
To kick off our 2016 PAOC General Conference held in the beautiful city of Montreal, we encourage you to find your way to the Bonsecours Market in Old Montreal on Monday evening between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Inaugurated in 1847, Marché Bonsecours is acknowledged as one of Canada's ten finest heritage buildings and has become an essential stop on any visit to Old Montreal. There you will have opportunity to meet and mingle with the District of Quebec leadership team and meet up with PAOC friends. There will be a variety of booths set up in the Salle de Bal where you will get to “taste test” some Montreal “originals.” You will receive information and coupons to help you determine your choice of evening dining options in Old Montreal. We encourage you then to head out with friends, or enjoy a quiet dinner for two alone with your spouse, in this lovely, quaint part of our city! You may want to visit the cultural and heritage attractions or even take a calèche tour ride. Be sure to arrive any time after 5:00 p.m. and before 7:00 p.m. so you can also browse through the market’s shops and boutiques before heading out for dinner. The Marché is a walkable distance from the Palais. Should you wish to drive, there are 150 free parking spaces available. Directions to the parking garage are available at http://www.marchebonsecours.qc.ca. We welcome you to experience the sights, the sounds, and the wonderful food of Old Montreal as we begin our 2016 General Conference!
