Legislative Spiritual Care Provider (Chaplaincy)

Leading Influence provides excellence in spiritual and emotional care to Canadian politicians. We seek to be a 'leading influence' in the lives of the people we serve (Light) and through our presence and relationships in legislatures across Canada (Salt). Our foundational premise is that genuine spiritual care is the foundation of better governance. This role provides the opportunity to be a meaningful and ongoing source of spiritual and emotional support through the ministry of presence in the lives of decision-makers and policymakers while remaining true to our non-partisan ethos. The role requires working independently (on-site) and collaboratively as part of our national team.

• Excellent Communication and People Skills • Competent with Microsoft 365 and Google Suite • Familiarity with Social Media Platforms • Ability to raise personal financial support and ministry budget • An awareness/interest/familiarity with politics

• Undergrad (minimum) and or long-term stable ministry/leadership experience required

• Strong pastoral and leadership gifts/instincts • Ability to meet new people through your initiative • A proven self-starter with a long-term track record of ministry fruitfulness • The ability to work well on a team of proven high-level ministry leaders
