LOCATION: Spain and Eurasia 

TRANSFORMATIONAL IMPACT: Our passion is to identify, disciple, and train Spanish leaders to preach the gospel throughout Spain. We also seek to care for our fellow global workers as they minister all throughout Eurasia.  

MINISTRY FOCUS: Spain contains 7,000 towns and villages with no evangelical witness. It also has 15 unreached people groups. Geographically, the country is a tough and dry land. Sadly, the spiritual climate reflects this. With only 1.6% of the population being evangelical, many people are unresponsive to the gospel message. 

As the assistant regional director for Eurasia, I (Mark) oversee all educational initiatives, including leading our Salem Bible School in Madrid, established in 2018. We currently have 20 part-time students enrolled in our three-year program, training for full-time ministry. I also work closely with our national partner Salem Pentecostal churches and their main pastor Marcos Vidal to equip new church leaders.   

I (Kim) provide member care, including life coaching, short-term counselling, and debriefing sessions, for our 50+ Eurasia global workers and their children. I help orientate them to their various ministry regions while providing them with holistic care at all stages of their ministries.  

YOUR IMPACT: You will help train Spanish pastors to reach the many towns and villages throughout Spain with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. You will also assist in providing crucial care for our global workers and their families as they serve so tirelessly throughout Eurasia.  

MINISTRY HISTORY:  In 1998, I (Mark) began teaching at various Bible schools throughout Ukraine, Russia, and Eastern Europe. In 2001, I moved to Vanadzor, Armenia and started Ararat School of the Bible there. Kim and I then got married in 2002 and began to minister together. In 2008, we moved to Yerevan, Armenia to help the National Pentecostal church to establish a Bible school. We then felt God call us to Madrid, Spain, in 2014, and currently reside there with our three beautiful children: Alyssa, Madeleine, and Caleb. I (Mark) obtained a Bachelor of Theology from Master’s College and Seminary and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (New Testament) from Global University. I (Kim) am a certified life coach and am currently working toward my Master of Arts in Care and Counselling (Mission Care).
