TRANSFORMATIONAL IMPACT: Our dream is to continue to grow the church plant we have started in the Azores Islands, to bring lasting hope to the community. We also want to witness the national church of Portugal awaken to the fact that true and lasting transformation can take place in their country and that they can be a sending nation as well.
MINISTRY FOCUS: The Azores Islands have the highest rate of school dropouts in all of Europe. It also has the highest rate of poverty and domestic violence in Portugal. Furthermore, with a population of approximately 235,000 people, only about 0.3% are actually believers.
With these sobering facts in hand, we have begun planting churches, developing discipleship programs, teaching anger management courses to address domestic violence in families, leading Bible teaching in the homes, and developing a feeding program for impoverished individuals.
Our goal is to primarily reach younger families that profess some form of religion but do not understand how to have a genuine relationship with the Lord. We are hoping to see more and more people turn away from an empty religious life and hopeless idol worshiping, to enter into a fully committed relationship with Jesus Christ!

MINISTRY HISTORY: We have been in full-time ministry for over 35 years. We ministered as senior pastors in various churches in Manitoba and western Ontario. We also served as PAOC global workers in Brazil, teaching at the Assemblies of God Missions’ Training Center, and global volunteers to India, where we planted several churches and started orphanages and rescue homes for victims of sex trafficking.

- For God to work in those individuals who have accepted Chris to truly grow in their new-found faith.
- For God to help us to connect with and build a strong base of supporters who truly believe in our mission.
- For God to give us strength to do His work and protect us when we travel.
