Transformational Impact: You will help assist over 7,000 vulnerable children throughout sub-Saharan Africa, offering them hope for today, hope for tomorrow, and hope for eternity.

Ministry Focus: In sub-Saharan Africa, millions of children have no access to education, or their parents don’t have the means to send them to school. Without proper education and essentials like nutrition and healthcare, little hope exists for many children in this region of the world.

To help respond to this need, I serve as the Director of Programs for Villages of Hope Africa (VOH) for all ten of our centers across five countries: Burundi, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. I support the Executive Director in monitoring and developing VOH programs, strategic planning, networking, promotion, fundraising, and any special projects related to VOH Africa Society. My passion is to disciple children, so they grow up knowing that Jesus loves them, and ensure that all children who come to VOH centers are safe and receive the highest quality care possible.

I am honoured to be part of VOH Africa’s mission to bring lasting hope to vulnerable children throughout Africa by providing them with holistic (emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual) and loving care so they can embrace adulthood as contributing members of society.

Ministry History: For nearly 30 years, I have been involved in pastoral ministry, initially serving at Pickering Pentecostal Church and more recently at PORTICO Community Church in Mississauga along with my wife, Jodey. Throughout my years in pastoral ministry, I have been the Missions Pastor, overseeing the church's mission efforts, managing budgets, and providing support for partnered Global Workers. I have also organized training for short-term mission teams and led multiple teams across 8 countries. As a volunteer with VOH Africa for over 20 years, I have led many short-term mission trips, supported several teams led by others, and been involved in fundraising and various other projects. I am now excited to be serving VOH Africa in a full-time capacity.

• For God to draw every VOH child to Himself and help them to one day become thriving, godly adults.
• For God to grant, along with the executive leadership team, VOH directors, and staff, His wisdom as we care for the children who walk through our VOH doors.
• For God to grant me safety and good health as I travel to the various countries where the centers are located.
