Our Vision: Our vision is to not only care for but also disciple the students attending Faith Academy, partnering with their parents as they minister in restricted access countries throughout Southeast Asia.
Ministry Focus: At Faith Academy, we have the privilege of serving the children of global workers ministering throughout Asia. Caleb is the Middle School Boys' PE teacher, where he uses his love for sports to mentor and shape students’ lives. Karyn also serves at Faith Academy as the Executive Assistant of the Partnership Development Department. Her role includes connecting with alumni as well as the current community, resource mobilization, sponsorship acquisition and donor relations. Karyn also serves on the Child Safety team, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment for all students. Together, we are committed to supporting these families as they carry out God’s work across the region.
Our ministry extends beyond Faith Academy. We are passionate about outreach and have volunteered with local orphanages, shared meals with remote unreached communities, and even shared connected with locals through a mall ministry. Each of these efforts reflects our desire to share Christ’s love in meaningful and creative ways. As Faith Academy staff, we are fully reliant on the prayerful and financial support of our partners, whose generosity makes this vital ministry possible.
Ministry History: Our journey in missions began in 2005 when we, newly married, moved to another country in Asia. For 17 years, we ministered to university students, led a local English church, and served in orphan care. Those years were foundational, as we saw lives transformed and communities impacted by the love of Christ.
In 2020, the pandemic brought an unexpected transition, leading us to the Philippines and to Faith Academy. Initially, we served as boarding home parents, living with 15 teenage boys and mentoring them academically, spiritually, and relationally. In August 2024, our roles shifted to Caleb teaching PE and Karyn stepping into administrative and safety-focused positions, allowing us to continue investing in young lives and supporting missionary families. Through every change, God’s faithfulness has guided and sustained us as we seek to glorify Him in all we do as we serve alongside our three precious children: Hezekiah, Josiah, and Hanna.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray for God to give our children the strength and determination to continue succeeding at their studies as they follow Jesus with their whole hearts.
- Pray for the persecuted church and those who lack the same access to the Gospel that we are blessed with.
- Pray that we would have more opportunities to be involved in local outreaches, and that we would have a positive impact for Jesus.
