Location: Novosibirsk, Russia

Ministry Focus: Alexey and Tonia have recently (fall of 2021) made a transition to the city of Novosibirsk to plant a new church. This is a large, metropolitan city of close to 3 million people, located right in the heart of Siberia. Their goal and vision is to build relationships in the community through English classes, counselling, seminars, and discipleship. They continue to provide oversight and leadership to the church in Gorno-Altaisk, Altai, where they had lived and served for almost 14 years. Tonia is a PAOC credential holder from the Saskatchewan district, and Alexey is an ordained pastor with the Russian Assemblies of God.

Ministry History: Alexey and Tonia met in Moscow in 2002, where they lived and worked until moving to Altai, south-central Russia, in 2008. Over the years, together with their team of national workers, they have planted a church, started a few house churches in the villages, and raised funds to start a recovery center. Their oldest son joined their family almost 10 years ago when he was adopted and is now a young man and married to a wonderful girl. They currently live and work in Altai. Their younger son attends college in Novosibirsk and joined their family in 2015 when he was 12 years old.
