Location: Honduras, Latin America & the Caribbean
Ministry Focus: The Lundrigans are the Founders of Schools of Hope, a rapidly growing ministry with the potential for impacting 1000’s of lives in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The project was founded in 2010 in public schools located in extremely poor areas in response to the concerns for children at risk. Currently Schools of Hope are assisting over 1600 children in the vision to provide hope to marginalized children. Through ERDO Child Care Plus, sponsorships, classroom sponsorships, In School Feeding Programs, school and community improvement projects, scholarship programs and taking the Gospel right into these public school classrooms on a regular basis, lives are positively changed.
Ministry History: Randy and Judy Lundrigan have volunteered in Tegucigalpa, Honduras since January 2006. Credentialed with the PAOC, they are also proudly affiliated with the PAONL. They worked for many years in administration with the Canadian Federal Government until they took early retirement in 2000. Both job training and their involvement in various church and community organizations were instrumental in helping equip them for this adventure.
Prayer Requests:
- The Lundrigans will fully transition back to Canada by December 2016 as “Global Volunteers.” Prayer for Gods hand in the transition process and determining Gods next steps for them is greatly appreciated.
- They are confident that SOH will continue to thrive and grow as the current leadership team moves forward with God’s plan for Honduras. Please continue to hold SOH in your prayers.
“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans for HOPE and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
