Location: India, Southeast Asia
Ministry Focus: The Prasads (Dhruv and Rita, Daniel and Karuna) are an Indian family from Bokaro, a city in northern India dominated by the steel industry. They are national workers working in partnership with the PAOC to run a self-financing, fully accredited school that provides a strong Christian influence in the lives and homes of hundreds of Hindu students. The school offers education to over 1,700 students from pre-kindergarten to Grade 12. The Motto of the school is "Building a better India by building better boys and girls."
The latest addition to their existing ministries is a Bible College - Trinity Theological College - which is aimed at training and equipping young men and women in the parts of Eastern India to preach the Word of God and be involved in Church Planting. The Bible College now has over 15 students. The students graduate with a Bachelors in Theology which is recognized by Asia Theological Association (ATA).
Their other areas of ministry include:
- A church which is growing over the years and now has around 100 people attending church every Sunday.
- A Sunday school that is attended by over 200 children, most of whom are Hindus. It is here that they listen to the Word of God and the seeds are sown in their hearts.
- A ladies' prayer group that meets on the second and fourth Saturday of every month at the church. The meetings are attended by over 50 women who pray sincerely for their families and hear from the word of God.
