LOCATION: Romania & Spain 

TRANSFORMATIONAL IMPACT: Our passion is to support and encourage national workers in both Romania and Spain, to see them resourced to bring the message of Jesus to this generation. 

MINISTRY FOCUS: We support pastors in two different settings, the Bucharest International Church in Romania and the Salem Churches in Spain, while based out of Canada. We have ministered with the national leaders in Romania at the Bucharest International Church for over 26 years. Even further back, we helped to grow the Salem Church in Alicante, Spain over 35 years ago. 

With our main base being at the Bucharest International Church, we work with both internationals and nationals, including many young adults. We minister to the poor and the emerging middle-class, as well as embassy, military, and governmental personnel.  

Romania is a source country for human trafficking, ranking among the highest in the world for the exploitation of young girls. Over the last 16 years, we have supported Iana Matei and her son, Stefan, through Reaching Out Romania, a ministry that restores victims of human trafficking and protects vulnerable young women and children. 

In Spain, over 7,000 cities and towns are still lacking the presence of the evangelical church. In an atmosphere of spiritual disengagement and secularization, we visit and encourage the Salem pastors, particularly in the outlying areas of Spain, to support their efforts to reach their communities.  

We minister to the pastors and their churches by teaching, preaching, and presenting workshops and seminars. Most importantly, we mentor the church leaders as they discuss their plans, challenges, and hopes for the future. We do everything we can to help make each pastor, including their teams and congregations, realize their goals.  

YOUR IMPACT: Your partnership will help to contribute necessary resources to pastors and churches, in both Romania and Spain, and provide the means to bring meaningful assistance to pastors and their churches.  

MINISTRY HISTORY: We first began our missionary journey in Mexico, working alongside young graduates from Bible college. After two years, we settled in Guadalajara, Mexico to help establish a church plant. We then spent the following six and half years pastoring the Salem church plant in Alicante, Spain. Doors of opportunity then opened to move to Romania, where we have worked alongside the national leaders at the Bucharest International Church for the past 27 years. With our years of ministry experience in various countries, we are now considered by many to be their spiritual parents and for some, their spiritual grandparents.
