Celebrating Michel Charbonneau's Life

Dear PAOC Family,

We continue to grieve the passing of Michel Charbonneau. After hearing from his family, we have some information for you. To honour Michel’s life and legacy, there will be a funeral service this Saturday, December 21st, at 7:00 AM ET at their church, La Forteresse, in Haiti.

Right now, there are travel restrictions to and from Haiti. Louise intends to return to Canada for a memorial service at a later date, most likely in March, once travel restrictions ease.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to their ministry account or to Child Care Plus in Haiti.

Michel’s life and ministry have had a profound impact on many, and we are grateful for his faithful service. Please join us in praying for Louise and their family as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.

As we grieve, we are reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3: “The God of all comfort… comforts us in all our troubles.” May God’s peace surround Michel’s family with His comfort during this difficult time.
