HURRICANE ETA
Hurricane Eta is expected to make landfall in Honduras and Nicaragua today (Tuesday, November 3) with up to 36 inches of rain expected. Please pray that the impact will be minimal, and for comfort and peace for the people in these countries. Pray that food, water and aid supplies will get to where they are needed, and that power will be restored. Pray that God will encourage and guide our PAOC global workers, Kathy Mizen and Kim Hodgkiss, who remain in their field of calling in Honduras. Pray that those people who need medical attention will receive it quickly, and for strength and wisdom for all of the first responders.. Pray also for wisdom for government authorities in responding to people’s needs, and that many people will have opportunities to hear and receive the gospel.

CANADA—QUEBEC
A man attacked and killed two people and injured five others in Quebec City, Quebec, on Saturday (October 31). Pray for physical and emotional healing for the people who survived the rampage and for the families and friends of those killed or injured. Pray that God will grant comfort and peace to everyone impacted. Pray also for opportunities for the gospel to spread, so that many people will find hope in Christ in the aftermath of this tragedy.

CANADA—ONTARIO
Pray for the staff and congregations of South Caradoc United Church in Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario, and St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Muncey, Ontario, which were completely destroyed by suspicious fires on Sunday (November 1). Praise God that no one was injured. Pray that God will guide the staff from both churches as they continue their ministries. Pray also that the congregations will sense God’s peace and be encouraged during this difficult time.

EASTERN ONTARIO & NUNAVUT DISTRICT
Pray for all the children and student ministries pastors and leaders who will be attending “Empowered,” the Initiate Leadership Conference being held online on November 7. May they be inspired, engaged and refreshed by the Holy Spirit. May God grant them clear direction and wisdom, and help them to look at their ministries with a fresh perspective. Pray that they will learn how to improve their leadership skills, and build deep connections with each other as they share ideas on how to make an even greater impact in the lives of children and youth for the kingdom. Pray also for the speakers and musical worship team as they prepare for their time together.
