PAOC CHURCHES & MINISTRIES
May God pour out His Spirit in a vibrant and powerful way throughout churches and ministries across Canada this fall season. Pray for strength, encouragement and wisdom for pastors and leaders as they continue lead during an uncertain season. Pray also that staff and volunteers who serve will be encouraged and strengthened. Pray that congregations will grow in their understanding of the Word, in their relationship with God, in their relationships with one another, and in their passion and desire to reach their communities for Christ. Pray that many people will encounter God in fresh and loving ways and decide to follow Jesus, that they will be empowered by His Spirit to bring hope to those around them who need it.

UNITED STATES
Wildfires have now burned more than five million acres on the West Coast of the United states, smothering neighbourhoods in Washington State, Oregon and California with toxic smoke. Some communities have been living with this danger for four weeks. Pray that God will pour rain in the affected areas and provide sufficient human resources and equipment so that the fires will be brought under control. May He protect, strengthen and encourage the firefighters and first responders. Pray also that God will comfort people who have lost their homes or loved ones and are facing an uncertain future, and that He will provide for evacuated residents.

Alejandro & Mercedes Centrulo
URUGUAY
Pray that God will bless and guide Alejandro and Mercedes as they minister in Uruguay. Despite COVID-19, the Cetrulo’s managed to complete their new church building and celebrated the dedication in July 2020. There are still items to be completed inside the multi-purpose church building, but we rejoice with them as the church is growing and they now have a lovely building to worship in. Pray that people’s hearts in Uruguay will be receptive to the gospel. Pray also for the health and safety of the Centrulo family.

WORLDWIDE
Pray continually for God to intervene in the spread of COVID-19, which has infected more than 30,905,160, and killed nearly 958,705 people around the world.1 Pray for healing for those infected, and comfort for those who have lost loved ones. Ask God to strengthen and protect frontline and essential workers and to grant peace to their families who are concerned for them. Pray that, as many countries begin to ease restrictions, their economies will respond well and new infections will be limited. Pray for extra protection for people in developing countries who are already malnourished and more vulnerable to this disease. Pray also for the hundreds of PAOC global workers who have remained in the country of their calling, serving their communities and displaying the love of Christ throughout this global pandemic.
