PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of April 13, 2020

Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

WORLDWIDE
Pray continually for God to intervene and stop the spread of the coronavirus, which has infected nearly 1,915,000 and killed more than 123,000 people worldwide.1 Pray for the Lord’s healing touch upon those with COVID-19, and for peace and comfort for those whose loved ones have passed away. Pray for Canada, and particularly for Quebec, where controlling the spread has been more difficult. Pray that God grants wisdom to world leaders so that the negative economic impact is controlled. May He continue to protect, strengthen and encourage frontline workers at hospitals and other essential service industries. Continue to pray that medical professionals will receive all the equipment and supplies they need to treat patients effectively. Pray for supernatural protection for people in developing countries who are already malnourished and vulnerable. Pray also that, throughout this crisis, the gospel will be shared effectively and many will turn to Jesus for comfort and guidance.

PAOC CHURCHES & MINISTRIES
Pray for our churches and ministries across Canada as they follow up with the many online guests and connections made during the Good Friday and Easter Sunday services. Pray that those who heard and received the good news surrounding the death and resurrection of Christ would continue to grow and become true disciples for life. Pray also that pastors, leaders, staff and volunteers who serve faithfully would be encouraged and strengthened during this season, and that they would see a great harvest as a result of their ministry efforts.

Cal & June Anthony
EURASIA
Pray that God will bless and guide Cal and June as they visit, encourage, and support global workers and national leaders throughout Eurasia. May the Lord provide them with continued direction to fulfil His call on their lives. Pray for their family needs, including the lives of their three children and seven grandchildren. Although they are unable to travel due to COVID-19, Cal and June are in contact with our global workers and international partners in Eurasia. Pray that these interactions will be a blessing and provide much needed encouragement and wisdom.
