SOUTH AFRICA

Following the worst drought in a century that has lasted for three years, Cape Town’s water supply is dangerously low. Strict consumption limits have been imposed to try to avert disaster, and there is a lot of tension. “Day Zero” is expected to be declared in less than three months, when taps in homes and businesses will be turned off and the city’s four million residents will have to line up for water rations. Please pray that God would bless the area with a significant amount of rain, and that peace will reign throughout the city. Pray that people will turn to the Lord and care for each other as a community. Pray also for the encouragement, safety, and provision of our global workers serving there.

Carole Amico

CANADA

Pray for Carole, a Mission Canada worker, who engages the online world on a daily basis, using tools designed for Internet evangelism and discipleship. Pray that she would have an ever-increasing impact in reaching Francophone Canadians in Quebec, all across Canada, and around the globe. Pray that God will bless Carole with more spiritual conversations online and that through them, people will make decisions for Christ. Pray that Carole will have strong partners who are able to provide solid discipleship tools with relevant content. Pray also that God will bless Carole with creativity and efficiency in engaging the online world.

Kimberley Hodgkiss

HONDURAS

Kimberley serves as the director of the Ministry Training Centre in Trujillo, Honduras. Pray that Kimberley will be spiritually, emotionally and physically encouraged and strengthened, and that students at the centre will have open hearts and minds to the gospel. Pray also that God would bless Kimberley with wisdom, grace, and courage as she ministers to those around her.
