Rev. Casely Essamuah, secretary of the Global Christian Forum, held a regional meeting in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, with Rev. David Wells, general superintendent of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, and a representative group from various Christian communities in Canada. The Global Christian Forum Executive met in February in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where strengthening their focus on youth, regional consultations and strategic communications emerged as clear priorities. The GCF group meeting in the PAOC International office discussed these priorities as relates to the Canadian context.
The Global Christian Forum’s mandate is to offer new opportunities for broadening and deepening encounters among Christians from different traditions. Members meet across denominational, regional, national, ethnic and cultural boundaries. The Global Christian Forum is creating a place where various participants can collaborate to foster mutual respect, and to explore and address common concerns.

While in Mississauga for this meeting Rev. Essamuah, Rev. Wells and two members of his PAOC communications team, Natalie Rogge, the communications director, and Stacey McKenzie, the publications manager, met regarding GCF communications. Rev. Wells affirmed PAOC’s commitment to raising the profile of the work of the Global Christian Forum and its related messaging within his constituency, and to assisting GCF to do the same.
