Tarrant Cross Child

mission Canada Indigenous worker

Ministry Location: Nation-wide

Ministry Focus: Indigenous Canadians

Tarrant's life story is one of being rescued from a place of hopelessness and despair to now being used by God to see others, bound by alcohol and addiction, set free. As a marathon runner, Tarrant's motto today as he coaches young Indigenous runners, is simply "Purpose Produces Passion." God has restored both.

God has truly given Tarrant new purpose in life, even as reflected by his last name: Cross Child. Recently branded "Child of the Cross Running Clinics," have given Tarrant a platform to not only coach the next generation, but to communicate what a life is like when Christ is placed at the centre of everyday living. Tarrant is being used by God to speak into the lives of young Canadians at school assemblies, track fields, and wherever God leads him.

"...let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith..." Hebrews 12:1-2
