TRANSFORMATIONAL IMPACT: Our passion is to extend God’s Kingdom by serving and empowering our 65 amazing global workers throughout Eurasia.   

MINISTRY FOCUS:  Based in Bratislava, Slovakia, we serve as Eurasia regional directors for Mission Global. Our region extends from Siberia to Spain to Irkutsk to Israel, spanning 12 time zones and 750 million people including millions of Muslims, Jews, atheists, and nominal Christians.  

My (Steve) passion is to help develop leaders, mobilize church planters, and support humanitarian aid projects to transform Eurasia with the gospel. I’m grateful that our 65 Eurasia global workers minister alongside our national partners in 26 of Eurasia’s 60 countries.  

Together they train almost 1,000 leaders a year in 15 schools and programs. Together they have been instrumental in planting dozens of churches each year in over 12 nations. Together they have led hundreds of addicts to faith and freedom in Christ in six countries, helped victims of human trafficking in Romania, and given a cup of cold water in Jesus’ name to thousands of refugees in Ukraine and across Europe.  

My (Patti) passion is caring for global workers, national partners, and women in ministry. Our house is a “second home” for global workers, national leaders, pastors and their families, and Bible college students from across Eurasia and Canada. I also love visiting and encouraging our global workers and partners in their countries to better understand the realities of their national contexts.

MINISTRY HISTORY: We served as pastors in Montreal and Edmonton for eight years and then at Vanguard College for 22 years, where I (Steve) was the president from 2002-2015. From 1990-2015, we led short-term mission teams to Eastern Europe every summer, eventually becoming Eurasia regional directors for Mission Global in 2015. We have three lovely adopted daughters and eight wonderful grandchildren.
