SANCTUS is a discipleship and personal transformation course for young adults. In-class instruction is combined with group interaction, private study and hands-on experience, giving students a balanced understanding of what it means to serve God. Our desire is for students to learn and grow as individuals, to acquire knowledge and to gain wisdom that comes from applying that knowledge, so that when they enter university or the work place, the experiences they have had will enable them to study and to serve with excellence.
The purpose of SANCTUS is as follows:
- To provide an environment that challenges students to WORSHIP God, to HEAR His voice and ACT in obedience.
- To provide opportunities that enhance their ability to SERVE through acts of compassion and other expressions of God’s heart for the world.
- To motivate development in one’s relationship with God cultivating a Christ like CHARACTER based on a solid Biblical foundation, the work of the Holy Spirit and applying Biblical truth to daily living.
- To strengthen one’s ability to RELATE to people.
- To encourage personal DISCIPLINE and TRANSFORMATION in every area of life (spiritual, physical, emotional and intellectual) resulting in Christian maturity.
Each 4-week SANCTUS program costs $9,750 and covers accommodation, meals, course materials, ministry T-shirts and ministry transportation for 15 students. All donations to this project will go towards running the SANCTUS program. It is our desire to run SANCTUS in 4 locations in Uganda throughout the year.
