Ministry Focus: Campus Ministry
Red Frogs Canada Support Network is a network of volunteers who support and safeguard today’s generation of young people by positioning themselves on a university or college campus where they are able to build relationships with students, empowering them to make positive life choices and become voices of change within their culture. Equipping and training student leaders is a key in helping to combat the binge-drinking culture often found on Canada’s post-secondary campuses, and we have a program that is working and bringing positive results. Throughout Canada, Red Frogs Crews can be found attending the Student Union or Faculty and Residence events, providing support in a variety of on-campus activities, including hydration stations, pancake breakfasts, safe zones, non-alcoholic events, and more.
As a result of being practical, available and consistent in serving, Red Frogs Crew members are placed in a position of trust with young people, thereby enabling them to coach and support students through some of the most challenging times of their lives. As a church, we encourage you to get involved. Consider bringing a Red Frogs Canada Support Network to your local campus. Let’s partner together as we strategically seek to influence our Canadian campuses. Together, we can safeguard a generation of young people, and in doing so we can change the culture in our nation.
