Ministry Focus
Ben and Lindy are currently working in Kijabe, Kenya. Lindy is working at Kijabe Hospital as an emergency physician and GP-anesthetist, and is engaged in teaching and mentoring Kenyan trainees as she practices clinically. Ben & Lindy are also on staff at Rift Valley Academy, an international boarding school for children of global workers, where Ben is working with the maintenance department, and where they are both serving as dorm parents to the 'quarantine dorm' amidst the ongoing pandemic.
Ministry History
Lindy has recently completed a long season of medical training. During training, she was fortunate to be able to complete multiple international rotations in eastern Africa in various contexts, including Kijabe Hospital. She has previously spent a considerable amount of time in the region between various training opportunities, and visiting and supporting her parents, who were serving with PAOC in eastern Africa.
Ben previously served in Swaziland with Challenge Ministries. He is a carpenter, and has a heart for mentoring young people, and for using his practical skills to enable ministry.
Ben and Lindy met and were married during the pandemic, and moved to Kenya in January 2021.
Prayer Requests
- Discernment with regards to future ministry plans/opportunities.
- Pray for the RVA students and medical trainees that we are teaching and mentoring.
- Pray that we would remember that all good and lasting fruit comes from a place of abiding, and that we would remember to prioritize abiding in Christ amidst the many competing demands on our time and attention.
- Pray for us as a couple as we lay the foundation of our marriage on the field
