Location: Worldwide
Ministry Focus: In 2024, after eight years of living in a Muslim country as Global Workers and two years serving refugees and newcomers to Canada, we joined the GlobalEd team as Mission Equipping Specialists, providing leadership to Light for the Nations (LfN).
What is LfN?
LfN is a Missions equipping ministry of the PAOC
LfN multiplies workers through cross-cultural training focused on Unreached and Unengaged peoples
LfN serves national churches through cross-cultural preparation of their global workers
LfN has taught in every continent
Those LfN has taught now serve in over 30 different countries
GlobalEd, the international educational wing of PAOC, supports multiple educational and training institutions worldwide. These institutions teach Biblical theology and ministry, though many lack a Great Commission focus.
Our goal is to expand the capacity of our international partner fellowships to engage the world for Jesus and to train new global workers sent by non-Western churches.
Our Vision: We want to ignite a movement of equipped cross-cultural workers to make disciples of all peoples through our adaptable cross-cultural mission equipping program, serving mission-minded partners to multiply workers for the harvest.
Ministry History: Before moving to a Muslim country in 2014 as Global Workers with our two children, we served for many years as ministry leaders in various roles at our local church in Canada. During our eight years overseas, we learned the local language, served on the leadership teams of churches in two cities, helped start a refugee ministry (primarily for Syrian refugees), and won and discipled many people.
Since returning to Canada, we have continued to minister to refugees and newcomers in the Niagara Region. I also serve as the chairman for a network of agencies collaborating in Eurasia.
Prayer requests:
For wisdom and anointing over Jason as provides leadership to the ministry.
For the locations we plan to run training in for the upcoming year.
More workers to go to the unreached and unengaged peoples of the world.
