MISSION CANADA URBAN WORKER
Ministry Location: Calgary, AB
Ministry Focus: Urban Ministry
Jessica Sanchez is a filmmaker and musician based in Calgary, AB, with a profound passion for the arts and artist community in Canada, and the intersection of the arts and faith. With creativity and artistry at the core of everything that she does, she has consistently strived to express and explore the human experience and faith through her work.
Beyond her own artistic endeavours, she is committed to serving, supporting, and providing care to fellow artist across Canada. As an artist herself, she has recognized the challenges and triumphs of a creative career and has made it her mission to foster a nurturing environment for artist. Through mentorship, collaboration, and advocacy, she aims to uplift and empower the artistic community, ensuring that the voices of Canadian artists are heard and celebrated. Her dedication to the arts is not only a testament to the One whom the source of all creativity flows from, but also to her unwavering belief in the redemptive and restorative power of creativity.
As part of Mission Canada's key priorities of serving in urban centres, Jessica will be launching a ministry called Renaissance Canada that aims to seek out, serve, support, and care for artist across Canada to redeem, rebuild, and restore beauty in our broken world.
