Reaching out Romania, with director Iana Matei, works with national and international government and judicial organizations to prevent human trafficking and to rescue and restore victims of human trafficking. Based outside Bucharest, this NGO has helped rehabilitate over 750 victims of trafficking by offering them a home as well as psychological, medical, and legal assistance. The present emphasis is to train social workers and personnel in multiple Romanian counties and to develop integrated centers able to provide holistic care to vulnerable children.
