Statistics Canada reports that nearly 380,000 high school students graduated in 2018. Many are entering post-secondary to become tomorrow’s leaders in key areas like business, healthcare, government, education, entertainment, and the environment.
We are focused on keeping this generation engaged in their walk with Jesus when they leave high school and start preparing for life. Churches have invested so much in these students, and our team is taking the handoff so they can continue to thrive as disciples of Jesus!
Renegotiating Faith, a study done by The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, found that young adults are three times more likely to connect with a new church after moving out of their parents’ home if someone from their home church congregation tries to make a connection for them. Similarly, young adults going on to post-secondary studies are four times more likely to connect with a Christian campus group if someone from their home church tries to make the connection for them!
We are really excited about our latest project called “Life Launch.” It is an English/French interactive online curriculum to help bridge grade 11-12 high school students in doing life when they graduate. This training program which will help equip students, parents, and youth leadership in key practical and spiritual skills though video modules and online coaching. Youth pastors can help mentor their students for equipping whether they go to a post secondary school, do a gap year, or go straight into the workforce. Our Life Launch Project will go live Summer 2021. Your financial partnership will help us equip Canada’s wonderful high school graduates for future success in life.
