Ministry Focus: Diana and her son will be spending a year volunteering with Jef and Renatta Walton at the Village of Hope in Malawi. Village of Hope ministers to orphaned and vulnerable children in the village of Kauma. They provide education through schooling, assistance in healthcare, nutrition through a daily feeding program and shelter through its children home. Diana and Owen are excited to come alongside the Walton's in assisting with this ministry!
Ministry History: Diana is currently on staff at Calvary Pentecostal Church under the PAOC as the Worship and Christian Education Pastor. She has been serving at Calvary Pentecostal for 11 years, graduating from Bethany Bible College (currently Kingswood University) in Sussex, NB. Diana is also a volunteer with Samaritan's Purse with Operation Christmas Child, and works as a substitute teacher at Calvary Christian Academy in the primary grades. Diana has been to both Haiti and Senegal with Samaritan's Purse, and both her and Owen have been involved in many ministry trips with Seeds International to Grenada.
Feeling God's call to a deeper involvement in missions, Diana has chosen to take a year's leave to go to Malawi with Owen, and they are both excited to see what God is doing!
