MISSION CANADA INDIGENOUS PEOPLES ASSOCIATE
Ministry Location: Nationwide
Ministry Focus: Indigenous Peoples
Dan Collado and his wife, Belinda, have been serving the Lord in full-time ministry since 1993 and are excited to be playing a role in helping to equip, educate, and establish Indigenous leadership across Canada.
Having initially taken a step of faith to live and pastor in small, isolated fly-in Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario, and later in Nunavut, after some 15 years of pastoral ministry, Dan accepted the role as Executive Director of Aboriginal Bible Academy (ABA) in 2009.
ABA utilizes various distance learning mediums to help propagate Christian life formation across Canada within Indigenous contexts, helping the believer become an effective communicator and minister of the gospel. Whether that ministry originates from the pulpit or the pew, ABA has the training resources to equip every Indigenous believer for effective Christian service.
By serving the Christian Indigenous community across Canada, ABA is training the found so that the trained found can find the lost. This is the heart and vision that Dan and Belinda carry through their efforts with Aboriginal Bible Academy, and they invite you to stand together with them.
