TRANSFORMATIONAL IMPACT: Our vision is to see both our congregation members at PEFA Runda and the students at Rosslyn Academy changed by God’s love to build His kingdom throughout Kenya.
MINISTRY FOCUS: Our church Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) Runda consists of 70% of people residing in the slums of Nairobi, living next door to diplomats and expatriates living lavish lifestyles. Sadly, for many in these slums, they have little access to proper education, food, and shelter and can often turn to a life of crime, prostitution, and drugs.
In response to this, I (Stanley) serve as the lead pastor of our growing church, preaching, counselling, and shepherding our flock. I (Christa) help lead our prayer team, counsel individuals, and work with our children’s ministries. We also hand out food packages to families that give them meals for two weeks at time.
As teachers at international Christian school Rosslyn Academy, we both minister to students from over 50 countries, with 50% of them coming from non-believing homes. I (Stanley) teach grades 9-10 Christian Religion Education classes, while I (Christa) am our school’s grade three teacher, who invests in 40+ students daily, teaching many classes but most importantly, Bible classes.

MINISTRY HISTORY:
I (Stanley) grew up in the slums of Nairobi yet through hard work and trusting in Jesus, left that context. I obtained my Bachelor of Theology, Master’s in Christian Leadership, and completed one year of doctoral studies in organizational leadership. I have been teaching at the high school and college levels and pastoring for 15 years respectively, with six of those years being the lead pastor at PEFA Runda. In 2006, I (Christa) became a missionary to Nairobi, teaching in a local slum school. After marrying Stanley in 2008, I have taught at Rosslyn Academy ever since. I also obtained a Master’s in Christian Leadership and have taught for 21 years in public and local schools in Canada and Kenya. God has blessed us with our three beautiful children: Hilary, Naomi, and Joshua.

- For God to give us wisdom and guidance as we lead PEFA Runda and teach students at Rosslyn Academy.
- For God to give us unity as a family, protect us, and provide us the ability to find a balance between pouring out and resting.
