Thank you for partnering with us as we navigate unique dynamics in our urban settings, and the challenges of getting beyond the COVID-19 pandemic realities that greatly affected our nation and our world. Every aspect of life was affected for those who live and/or work in our city centres, whether it related to times of shutdown, loss of employment, mental stability, personal sickness and/or isolation due to the virus itself, or other connected issues.
Across our country, Mission Canada workers are continuing to serve, minister and help meet the physical and spiritual needs of Canadians with the hope of Christ. Mission Canada, the national mission agency of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, partners with districts and local churches to impact our nation with the gospel.
We pray that you would take steps of faith with us as we raise funds to bring additional support to our Mission Canada workers. In these trying times, we are reaching out to new Canadians, the homeless and vulnerable in our urban centres, our Indigenous Peoples, the next generation, and those in the film and entertainment industry.
Food Insecurity Toronto: Rising costs of living has affected us all. Inflation especially affects those in the margins where rising food costs don’t correlate with more available money for the poor. Food banks have seen a steep rise in the past two years and homelessness has become an even greater crisis than before. In order to meaningfully assist our financially compromised friends, please consider giving to assist those in need within the city. Your donation will go directly to people in need while allowing them to maintain dignity by choosing what they need instead of receiving pre-packaged products that don’t suit their daily needs. Your donation also serves as a sign of God’s provision in hard times; a sign of the gospel manifested to those in need. Help us shine a light to our friends in the margins. Your donation is an investment not only to their spiritual needs, but also to their physical nourishment.
“You cannot warm the hearts of people with God’s love if they have an empty stomach and cold feet” - William Booth.
Together we have this opportunity. Together we have this urgent responsibility.
