Ministry Focus: Dean and Ruth have both served the Lord for over 21 years in youth evangelism and leadership. Their focus in ministry are children and youth, tending to those who need dental, optical, and medical help. They also assist with the provision of educational, nutritional, and clothing needs. They launched a feeding program, which has led to about 70-75 adults saved, many going through their discipleship program, and are now leaders in the church. These individuals are now helping with the feeding program and are inviting other families from the community to participate. They are both pastoring and ministering through Iglesia Biblica Emmanuel in Lima, Peru.
Ministry History: Dean Milley’s calling to missions was at the age of six. He has been in ministry since 1997, licensed in ministry since July 1998, and ordained in March 2007 with the PAOC. He has also served as president of DMMI Canada. He has ministered in Canada, United States, Guatemala, and Ecuador. His first experience in missions was his opportunity to travel to Guatemala in 1999. It was there that missions took control of his life. In October 2000, Dean felt God’s calling to Peru. It was there that he met his wife Ruth, marrying her in 2010, and later welcomed a beautiful baby girl on Feb 20,2016. God has continued blessing their ministry, seeing more than 150 lives coming to Christ each week.
- The ability to continue helping the Children and Youth in Pucusana feeding project each week and that we will see many more parents of those Children come out and accept Christ as their personal Saviour.
- Safety in this area of Pucusana as we travel there and return each day. Also, protection for the things that we have there in the building God as given us.
- We are praying for a way to either purchase a vehicle or having one donated. This would help by making it easier to go more often to Pucusana and less expensive than hiring a security driver each time.
- For the street ministry we also do, that we will see many more coming out to church and receiving Christ in the new Emmanuel church plant we are a part of at this time.
