In the spring of 2024, UCM VIU is planning a service and exposure trip to Thailand, to serve in partnership with the Christian charity Imagine Thailand.
We will be seeking to serve the ministry that is already in motion and deeply rooted in the country in a few key areas:
Helping the ministry adjacent Chulalongkorn University to grow and expand in ministry capacity.
Serving the pastoral and missionary team in Takua Pa, in southern Thailand, as they run a Learning Centre for socioeconomically challenged Thai children. We will be joining their work of teaching in schools, specifically serving the Thai people with their desire to learn English.
Because this is a service and exposure trip, we will also be using this time to grow in our understanding of the Global Church and how the life of Christ is being expressed and realized in Thailand. As a university team, we want to have a posture of learning in this environment and seeking the "face of Christ" in new ways.
Your donations towards this trip will enable diligent students who are working to save for this trip while studying at VIU to make this trip reality.
