Mission Canada is excited to have a dear brother in the faith, Jayaprasad or JP as friends call him, as one of our workers to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) reaching our immigrant population. JP was raised in India in the Hindu faith, but had a personal encounter with Christ in 1983. JP has more than 25 years of ministry experience working with different language and cultural groups and with teens dealing with addiction. He has a tremendous passion for those who are under the dominion of religious bondage, atheism and various evils and addictive forces. JP is convinced that no power can stop the saving power of the gospel when it is presented in truth and with love. 

Often, many immigrants come from countries where the message of Christ is banned from being shared. They are not allowed to profess or believe. Many have never heard the good news of Jesus. The spiritual battle is strong in our cities: 24% of Toronto’s population identifies themselves as non-religious, yet God is at work in the city!
