Canadian Food Insecurities - Where Most Needed
Giving Tuesday
Thank you for partnering with us as we navigate the unique dynamics COVID-19 is creating throughout the nation and the world.
Across our country, Mission Canada workers are continuing to serve, minister and help meet the physical and spiritual needs of Canadians with the hope of Christ. Mission Canada, the national mission agency of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, partners with districts and local churches to impact our nation with the gospel.
We pray that you would take steps of faith with us as we raise funds to bring additional support to our Mission Canada workers. In these trying times, we are reaching out to new Canadians, the homeless and vulnerable in our urban centres, our Indigenous Peoples, the next generation, and those in the film and entertainment industry.
From one of our workers in Thunder Bay:
Please pray for the people we come alongside here in Thunder Bay. COVID-19 has changed their ability to obtain food. They used to get hot meals at various places and none of those are available at this time. The food banks are not presently open in the usual locations across the city, and instead there is only one distribution spot where families can pick up a box of food. Most rely on public transportation so it is not easy to get there and to get the box back home.
Together we have this opportunity. Together we have this urgent responsibility. Mission Canada…because we must!
