Anna is a Mission Canada worker who is passionate about reaching Canada’s next generation of children and youth who need to find their identity and purpose in Christ. Anna is a gifted communicator and motivational speaker who often uses her own personal story to communicate God’s love to students. She is desirous of seeing Canada’s next generation experience a real encounter with Jesus.
There is much at stake if we are not intentional about reaching Canada’s next generation. So many are heavily ‘at-risk’ of becoming involved in self-harming and even criminal activity. Property crimes, use and distribution of drugs, robbery and physical altercations destroy the lives of our young quickly. These actions often result from adversity in the home—abuse, neglect, food insecurity, and parental substance use. Anna is purposed to see at-risk kids experience freedom from bondage, being set free through the love and forgiveness that only Christ provides. Purpose, hope and even restoration can result when a young life is transformed, and it’s beautiful when it does!
Anna’s missional efforts has her reaching into her urban environment in the urban core of Winnipeg as she connects with children and teens and their families, many of which are part of the Indigenous population in the city. Anna also makes herself available to travel throughout Manitoba and across Canada.
