Mission Canada Cultural Language Groups

Canada takes in approximately 250,000 immigrants annually. This means there’s no shortage of opportunities to share the gospel with “the uttermost parts of the earth” who now reside among us. About half of these newcomers have never heard the gospel in their home countries. Now, in the freedom of the West, they can. The good news is that Mission Canada’s Cultural Language Groups—churches in international languages—make up over 18% of our congregations nationwide. And they are the fastest growing portion of our Pentecostal movement. Pray for our Cultural Language Churches to be effective in reaching other newcomers to Canada. Pray for our English, French and Aboriginal churches to also continue growing in effective engagement with newcomers to Canada. And pray for more new Cultural Language workers (missionaries to Canada) and congregations to be raised up across our land!
