Emmaus Road Journeys
In Luke 24, we're given the beautiful description of the resurrected Jesus drawing near and walking unrecognized with two disciples from Jerusalem on the road to Emmaus. They didn't understand God's plan or purpose in what had happened with Jesus in His crucifixion and death, and hadn't yet heard of His resurrection. He patiently walked with them, "and beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them all the Scriptures the things concerning himself." Luke 24:27 ESV.
Today, Jesus send us as His ambassadors into Emmaus Road Journeys with our neighbours who are often from other religious worldviews. And for that, these introductory instructional prayer, learning and witnessing guides will help.
