Rev. Paul Israelson
District Superintendent – Saskatchewan
Paul has served as district superintendent for the PAOC Saskatchewan District since 2019, providing care and support to over 50 local churches and ministries. Having grown up in a small, rural church in Alberta, as well as pastoring in a variety of contexts (large and small; solo and multi-staff), Paul is well aware of many of the challenges and opportunities that local churches have in their respective contexts. It has been his ambition, both as pastor and as district superintendent, to assist, equip, and encourage pastors and ministry leaders in effectively accomplishing their mission to reach their communities.
A graduate of Living Faith Bible College (now Clearwater College) and Briercrest Seminary, as well as chair of the board of Horizon College and Seminary, Paul values higher Christian education and ongoing leadership development for Christian leaders. He is currently working on his “PHT” (Put Her Through) as his wife, Tammy, completes her MA in Ministry Leadership at Horizon, as well as supporting their four kids in their current, past, and future studies at Horizon.
