PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of August 19, 2019
PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.
Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.
PENTECOSTAL WORLD CONFERENCE
Some people who are planning to attend the 25th Pentecostal World Conference, being held in Calgary, Alberta next week, from August 27 to 30, are still being denied entry to Canada. Canadian visas are being denied to our international guests by Canadian Immigration offices around the world. Pray that God will remove barriers to the approval process so that the visas will ultimately be granted. Pray for the remaining arrangements to be made smoothly for those who receive delayed approvals.
WESTERN ONTARIO DISTRICT
Pray for the youth who will be attending “Rise Up,” the Activate Next Gen Retreat at Braeside Camp in Paris, Ontario, from August 23 to 26. May the youth attending have opportunities to connect with one another, build relationships, and experience life-changing moments with Jesus Christ. May they also learn about God’s love for them and how to deepen their faith throughout the weekend.
BRITISH COLUMBIA & YUKON DISTRICT
Pray for the high school students who will be attending Rev Camp at Cowichan River Bible Camp in Duncan, B.C., from August 18 to 23. May they have powerful encounters with God, engage in passionate worship, and experience life-changing teaching sessions. Pray that God will accomplish His desire in their hearts during this event. Pray that many seeds will be planted and that their lives and their families’ lives will be impacted for eternity. Pray also for the speakers and music artists as they minister.
Roy & Avis Rideout
THAILAND
Pray that God will bless and spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically strengthen Roy and Avis as they minister to the people around them in Thailand. May God heal both the children and caregivers at Agape Home for Children, and may the gospel truly impact the lives of both the children and staff there. Pray also that God will guide and provide the right administrative personnel to serve at the Home.
