Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

MANITOBA & NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO DISTRICT

Pray for the people attending the Prime Time Getaway at Manhattan Beach Retreat Centre in Ninette, Manitoba, from June 11 to 14. Ask God to inspire and encourage them as they worship, learn from the speaker and experience fellowship with one another and with Him. Pray that the Holy Spirit will speak to them and give them a renewed vision on how to reach their communities for Christ.

EASTERN ONTARIO & NUNAVUT DISTRICT

May God bless and guide everyone attending “This is Us,” a day of dialogue surrounding the Statement of Fundamental and Essential Truths (SOFET) review and refresh process, at Calvary Community Church in Belleville, Ontario, on June 13. Pray that it will be a day filled with great insight, intentional discussion, and unity around outcomes.

DAVID HAZZARD

Please continue to pray for David Hazzard, General Secretary Treasurer for the PAOC, who is being treated for lung cancer. Pray for God to miraculously heal David, and for strength, comfort and encouragement for him and his family during this time. Pray also for wisdom for the doctors who are treating him. You can follow David’s journey and ways you can pray for him and his family at https://www.journeyingtowholeness.com.

Harlyn & Helene Purdy

MALAWI

May God bless and guide Harlyn and Helene as they minister to and care for people. Pray for empowerment, protection, and victory as Harlyn and Helene engage the powers of darkness in spiritual warfare, and for successful evangelism among people of different faith groups. Pray that many men and women will rise up and become godly leaders in the church and community, and that this year will be one of breakthrough in leadership development and outreach. Pray also for the thousands in Malawi who are still recovering from recent floods and storm damage.
