Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

ALBERTA

A massive wildfire is causing destruction and has prompted the evacuation of approximately 5,000 people to date. Pray that God will pour rain upon the area so that the fire will be brought under control and that He will protect and strengthen the firefighters and first responders. Pray also that God will comfort and encourage the people in the affected area, and that He will guide and provide for evacuated residents.

CANADA

The Mission Canada SERVE Campus Network Summit is taking place this week (May 27 to 29) at the Coast Canmore Hotel and Conference Centre in Canmore, Alberta. Pray for God’s blessing and Spirit-empowerment on campus ministry workers, and that they will be encouraged and receive clear direction from the Lord as they worship Him, pray together and share ideas. Pray that thousands of students will be reached with the gospel based on decisions and connections made. Pray also for safety and protection for everyone attending.

QUEBEC DISTRICT

The Quebec District Conference is taking place this week (May 27 to 29) at Carrefour Chrétien des Maskoutains in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. May the leaders attending be encouraged and receive clear direction from the Lord as they worship Him, pray together and share ideas with each other on reaching their communities for Christ. Pray also for safe travel for everyone attending.

Matthew & Amber Price

THAILAND

May God bless and guide Matthew, Amber and their family as they serve and minister in Thailand. Pray that God will provide wisdom and direction for them on a daily basis as they interact with people. Pray that their children continue to adjust well as they engage in culture and mission as a family. Pray that God will provide them with divine insight and understanding of the people and places around them. Pray also that God will provide wide margins for the Holy Spirit to write in as Matthew and Amber navigate life and ministry in Thailand.
