PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of December 10, 2018

Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

Last year, changes in eligibility requirements for Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program grants announced by the Government of Canada negatively impacted a wide range of churches, Christian ministries, organizations and programs. Pray that God will guide these entities and programs as they consider or apply for the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program grants this year, in light of recent revisions that have just been communicated. Pray that God will grant His favour throughout the process and that their applications will all be approved. Pray also that religious freedom in Canada would continue to be both respected and protected.

Pray for continued empowerment, focus and unity among all of our PAOC churches, so that we continue to work together towards our shared mission of glorifying God by making disciples everywhere. Pray that God will guide and encourage those who work specifically on church revitalization and multiplication as it relates to the 2020 Initiative, so that we can see at least 1% of Canadians (350,000 Christ-followers) serving Christ within 1,500 Pentecostal disciple-making communities across Canada. Pray for more volunteers to share the responsibilities that come with forming communities of faith where more Canadians can have access points to the gospel. Pray also for news ways of reaching Canadian communities to be embraced, according to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Yves & Françoise Michaud

Pray that Yves and Françoise will be spiritually strengthened and encouraged as they minister to everyone around them. May God send the right teams of new labourers to join in the vision. Pray also that God will inspire home based prayer groups and intercessors to pray for anointing and fruit in the ministries of Thai church planters.
