Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

CANADA

Clark and Kim Moran, co-lead pastors at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly, have been attempting to bring their adopted son, Ayo, home to Canada from Ghana.  The process of receiving the proper paperwork has been delayed. Kim, who has multiple sclerosis, had to return to Canada when her health deteriorated. Clark is now in Ghana with Ayo. Pray that God will bring an end to the administrative delays so that Clark, Kim and Ayo will be reunited in Canada soon. Pray that He will encourage the Morans during this difficult time, and grant them peace. Pray for healing for Kim, and that the cost of their medical bills will be covered as their out-of-country medical insurance expired. Also, may God use their experience to draw people to learn more about Him and to faith in Christ.

PAKISTAN

Several recent suicide attacks in Pakistan have killed and injured many people. Pray for God’s comfort for the families and friends of those killed or seriously injured and for physical and emotional healing for survivors. Pray that God will turn the hearts of all those involved in planning the attacks to the light of Christ. Pray for wisdom for government authorities seeking to prevent future attacks, and for God’s protection on all places of Christian worship around the world during this upcoming Christmas season. Pray also for encouragement for our church partners there, the Assemblies of God Pakistan. Pray for their leader and the leaders of the church as they shepherd their people.

Campus Ministry

CANADA

Please continue to pray for the more than two million young adults who are currently enrolled in a Canadian college or university. May the hearts of unreached students and leaders be open to encountering God. Pray that those who were raised in Christian families will not wander away from the foundation of faith in their lives, and will be strengthened and empowered to demonstrate or share their faith with those they encounter. Pray for meaningful connections between Christian leaders and university/college administrators, and between mentors and students engaged in campus ministry throughout Canada. Pray also that God will guide all of the students in their studying as they approach exam time.

Darren & Patty McCrea

COLOMBIA

Pray that God will strengthen and encourage Darren and Patty as they serve and minister to those around them. Pray for the establishment of a ministry centre and that new global workers will be called to join them in Colombia. Pray also that Darren and Patty would continue to find favour with local church leaders and authorities.
