PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of November 19, 2018

Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

Pray for the people attending the Healthy Leaders Network seminars at New Life Center in Moose Jaw on November 20 and at Glaslyn Pentecostal Assembly in Glaslyn on November 22. As they connect with one another, may God strengthen their passion to reach their communities for Christ.

An “All In” Leadership Day for women will take place on November 24 at Christian Life Centre in Ajax, Ontario. Pray that God will encourage and unite these women as they gather, and that He will equip them with His vision to reach their communities for Christ. Pray for blessing to extend to each of their families as a result of their time together. Pray also for the speaker and musical worship team as they prepare to minister.

May God prepare our churches and ministries across Canada for a great harvest this Christmas season. Pray that congregation members will continue to grow in their understanding of the Word, in their relationship with God, in their relationships with one another, and in their passion and desire to reach their communities for Christ. Pray that many Canadians will encounter God and the gospel in fresh ways and decide to follow Jesus, and that they will be empowered by His Spirit. Pray also that pastors, leaders, staff and volunteers who serve will be encouraged and strengthened, and that God will grant them wisdom in planning services and activities with a tremendous spiritual impact.

Keith Matthias

Pray for Keith, a chef and Mission Canada worker who is passionate about winning people to Jesus in the urban area of Scarborough, Ontario. He is stationed at a soup kitchen called “5n2” (think 5 loaves and 2 fishes). Pray that God will bless Keith, and everyone at 5n2, with wisdom and direction to meet the growing need for food in this city. Pray that they will have greater connections and support from community organizations. Pray also that God will provide more workers as this outreach and discipling ministry grows.
