Please pray for encouragement, protection and effective ministry for our general superintendent, David Wells, who is serving as the Canadian member of the chaplaincy team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. The Games are being held on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, from April 4 to 15. May God grant health and safety to all of the athletes as they compete, especially the Canadian athletes, coaches and their families in attendance. Pray also that Christian athletes and supporters will have opportunities to share their faith in word and deed, and that their lives will act as a witness to everyone around them.

Pray for the youth who will be attending The Gathering on April 6 and 7 at Calvary Temple in Winnipeg, Manitoba. May they have powerful encounters with God, engage in passionate worship and experience life-changing teaching sessions. Pray that God will prompt many youth to attend, and that He will remove any obstacles to their attendance. Pray that He will prepare their hearts to receive all that He wants to accomplish during this event. Pray that many seeds will be planted in these young people’s hearts and that their lives and their families’ lives will be impacted for eternity. Pray also for the speaker and music artists as they prepare for this conference.

Several youth pastors will be attending the Spring Forum on April 5 at Gateway Church in London, Ontario. May God use what they learn to help them grow and build great teams in the youth ministries they serve. Pray that He will also use what they experience to encourage them and impart wisdom moving forward. Pray also that these youth leaders will continue to be empowered in their God-given gifts and talents to make an even greater impact in the lives of youth for the kingdom.

Alejandro & Mercedes Cetrulo

Alejandro and Mercedes appreciate your prayers for a smooth transition to the mission field as a family. Pray that God will bless and guide them as they minister throughout the community they are serving in. Pray also that people’s hearts in Uruguay will be receptive to the gospel.
