Please pray for God to soften the hearts of the many visitors who will be attending Good Friday and Easter Sunday services at churches worldwide this coming weekend. Pray that a clear presentation of the gospel will be shared at each location and that God will use messages to draw many hearts to Himself, so they have a deep desire to learn more about Jesus and to become disciples. Pray that God would grant church leaders and members peace, wisdom, unity and direction as they prepare to host these services, and that all the details will come together well. Pray also that God will guide their follow-up plans with these visitors in the weeks ahead.

The 4-14 Initiative is PAOC’s annual focus in the month of April. Studies show that individuals are most open and receptive to making a personal commitment to Christ between the ages of 4 and 14, and that those who do so at this early stage of life are most likely to continue in their faith commitment. Pray for those children in need of encountering Jesus. May the truth of God impact their hearts and lives in a powerful way as they discover their spiritual identity. Pray that the parents of these children will raise them with purpose and teach them to live out an everyday faith. Pray also for wisdom for the churches that support these families through events, curriculum, etc.

Pray for the youth pastors who attended the Spring Forum on March 22 at PORTICO in Mississauga, Ontario. May God use what they learned to help them grow and build great teams in the youth ministries they serve. May He also use what they experienced on this day to encourage them and impart wisdom moving forward. Pray also that these youth leaders will continue to be empowered in their God-given gifts and talents to make an even greater impact in the lives of youth for the kingdom.

Joy Callahan

Pray that Joy will have a smooth transition to the mission field. Pray God’s favour in her establishing good relationships and connections with the community she is serving in. May God also bless Joy with wisdom, protection and health as she ministers in Mozambique.
