Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

Many of PAOC’s churches and ministry organizations have been notified by the Canada Summer Jobs division of the Federal Government that their application for funding through the Canada Summer Jobs program is incomplete and may be rejected if they do not fully comply with the attestation that is required. Pray that an accommodation under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Human Rights Act will be considered and allowed for these churches, Christian ministries and organizations as they re-apply for the program grants. Pray also that religious freedom in Canada would be respected and protected, and that God will intervene on our behalf.

Volunteers who serve in children’s ministry are participating in En Route, a training day on February 24, 2018 at Malvern Christian Assembly in Scarborough, Ontario. May they be encouraged and have their abilities strengthened as they learn how to minister even better to children.

Pray for the women attending the “Jesus is Enough” conference on February 23 to 25, 2018 at New Life Assembly in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Ask God to inspire and encourage them as they minister to the community through various outreaches, including a carnival. Pray that many people from the area will attend the carnival and that there will be many opportunities for conference attendees to share the gospel with them.

Restricted Access Nation – ASIA

Pray that this family will be able to build more relationships with the students that they teach in order to share the love of Christ with them. Pray that God will bless them with wisdom and guidance in mentoring the church and as they raise their children overseas. Ask that the Holy Spirit would continue to draw students to attend churches in this area. Pray also for the safety and wisdom of this family in the Restricted Access Nation where they serve and minister.
