WINTER OLYMPICS

Pray for smooth and peaceful operations throughout the Winter Olympics currently underway in PyeongChang, South Korea, until February 25. May God grant health and safety to all of the athletes as they compete, and especially for the 225 Canadian athletes, coaches and their families in attendance. Pray also that Christian athletes and supporters will have opportunities to share their faith in word and deed, and that their lives will act as a witness to everyone around them.

WESTERN ONTARIO DISTRICT

Pray for the continued encouragement and effectiveness of volunteers from churches throughout the district who participated in a training day last weekend, in partnership with children’s pastors. Pray that they will continue to be empowered in their God-given gifts and talents to make an even greater impact in children’s lives for the kingdom. Pray as well for encouragement and vision for local church leaders who will be attending Firehouse on February 11 and 12, 2018. The event is intended to help local church leaders to have a renewed commitment to presenting Jesus to the world in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Ach

Restricted Access Nation – MENAA

Pray for the safety and wisdom of this family in the Restricted Access Nation where they serve and minister. Ask God to bless them with more relationships and open doors for sharing the gospel. Pray also that there will be greater levels of impact for the ministry of local believers throughout this country, in spite of cultural resistance to the gospel.
