The refugee crisis continues to be a major concern in South Sudan, and famine has been declared in two regions. Ongoing political conflict has caused millions of people to be displaced from their homes. Thousands are flooding into neighbouring countries every day. Many refugees are crossing into Uganda, where over 82,000 people have sought refuge since July 2016. Uganda is now facing a crisis of its own as resources are being overwhelmed in the care of incoming South Sudanese refugees, 87% of whom are women and children. Pray that God will comfort, encourage and provide for the refugees. Pray that aid supplies will reach the areas of greatest need, and that there will be lasting peace and security in this area.
Praise God that the Mission Canada Campus Summit held this past week went well. Pray for everyone who attended as they return to their places of ministry. Pray for God’s blessing on their ministries and that they will be able to apply ideas and inspiration from the summit. Pray also that thousands of students will be reached with the gospel based on decisions and connections that were made.
Michel & Louise Charbonneau
Pray for more healings and miracles in Haiti so that God’s glory will be revealed and many people will turn to Christ. Pray that God will bless and guide Michel and Louise as they minister to the people around them. Pray also for a complete healing of Michel's right eye.
