Markus & Elizabeth Brandt

GERMANY

Please pray that God will provide favour for Markus and Elizabeth as they network with the leadership of Pentecostal churches in Germany to plan many city outreaches. Pray that the churches will connect with each other to encourage, strengthen relationships and build strong bonds together as they work on the details for these outreaches. Pray also for contact people or groups to emerge in the cities where church plants are being planned.

SYRIA

Please for those affected by the chemical gas attack which struck the town of Khan Sheikhoun last Tuesday (April 4), killing 87 people and wounding hundreds more, including many children. Pray also that God will provide comfort and hope to those who are mourning the loss of loved ones. Pray for peace throughout this nation and for God’s care and protection for the people of Syria, including those who have fled to other nations since the start of the war.

EGYPT

Bombs exploded in two Egyptian churches in the cities of Tanta and Alexandria on Sunday (April 9) as worshippers were celebrating Palm Sunday. At least 44 people were killed and approximately 100 were wounded. Pray for God’s comfort for the families and friends of those killed or seriously injured and for physical and emotional healing for survivors. Pray that God will move in the hearts and lives of all those involved in planning these attacks so that they turn from darkness to the light of Christ. Pray also for wisdom for government authorities seeking to prevent future attacks.
